Image Hyperlinks and Update Improvements

Images included in Updates can now have a hyperlink attached to them. Just upload and image and select the link icon.

When the image is clicked, the viewer will be taken to the respective URL.

While you have always been able to select an element in an Update and remove hitting backspace, we added an icon to the UI as well to do with your cursor.

Google Shared Drives Now Supported

We just updated to Google's latest Sheets API. Yes, we did so because the current version is being deprecated in April ;) However, that means it comes with some new benefits!

  • Sheets stored in Shared Drives (fka Team Drives...make up your mine Google!) are now supported
  • Sheets that have cells containing Google Finance functions and other scripts are now supported

If you are looking for some help, make sure to check out our Google Sheets 101 Guide.

Fixed Update Header

Update headers are now fixed when you scroll. Easier to Send Updates & change Update settings if you are at the bottom of the Update.

Table Styling

You can now style tables! Easily bold important rows or add alternative colors to your rows.

  • When creating or editing a table, uncollapse a metric and select bold.
  • Toggle on row striping and select a color of your choice.

Contact Activity Feed

You can now see the Activity Feed for any of your contacts. Simply click on a contact from your Home Activity Feed or navigate to Contacts and select a contact.

We'll show you how they are engaging with your Updates & Dashboards. We'll continue to add more events over time as well!

Customize Y Axis Scale

You can now customize the primary Y axis of your charts.

Head over to the Options tab of any chart you are editing or creating to customize the Min and Max of the primary axis.

Buyer beware: if you go this route, we cannot guarantee things will look great. You may also break best practices when it comes to visualizing data. However, we realize there are some instances when our automated axis doesn't render to customer needs. Enjoy!

Variance Reports in Dashboards & New Table Options

Variance reports got a facelift and some new functionality today. You can now embed any variance report directly into a dashboards. Just go to the Variance report and hit "Add to Dashboard"

We now allow for tables to be a 2x2 layout! When you are editing your dashboard you can now drag tables to be 2 rows in height.

Individual open counts are back!

We've heard you!

We just made individual open counts part of your Update stats again. Just hover oven the Last Opened column and it will appear.

We still stand by the fact that the data can be inaccurate because all email clients count these things differently; however, there is still value there so wanted to make sure we expose this to you!

Introducing Home

The Home section provides an activity feed to show you exactly who is engaged with your Updates, Dashboards and other content.

We like to think of it as a Twitter feed of how your investors are engaged with your business!

In this first version we’ll provide:

  • Views of Updates (from an email or link)
  • Clicks on Updates
  • Reactions to Updates
  • Views of Dashboards

Your feed will also smartly group items together based on time and the activity type. Home also provides quick actions to see your recently sent Updates, existing Update drafts as well as start a new Update from scratch or a template.
